Winter activities

ACTIVITY 1 was to go and play sledge. It was very fun and tiring at the same time as you got to climb up the slope again and again.Hubby borrowed a sled with steering which made things worse.Maybe its because i am not a experienced driver??I kept on turning to the right when i reach the bottom and fall unable to control the speed. It was fun and i thank hubby for bringing me!

We also had a small accident like those on Funniest Home Videos.Thank God there was no one with a cam.Hubby was using a disc to slide down and it kept spinning on its way down.I was standing at the bottom of the slope and decided to moved left when his disc turn and turn and reach the left and flew off the tiny snow cliff crashing on my knees and i landed on hubby. It must have been damn hilarious as the Swede family there was laughing uncontrollably and we also joined in.

PREPARING TO GO...
 HELP ME STOP!!!
GOING FOR ROUND 2
NOW ITS UR TURN..
ACTIVITY 2
This winter is much colder than last year.It has been snowing on and off!Of course there is not much that you can do during winter but at least my wish was fulfilled this year. That was to make a snow man!It was not as easy as it seems as its hard to make the ball if the snow is too soft or too hard.We tried our best and smuggled some snow from downstairs. Here is our Creation!
  TADA....
With his shades!

ACTIVITY 3
Baking Pandan cake.It was not bad.I should have bought more of this instant mixes...

Blow, blow, thou winter wind...

I was trying to was browsing for nice winter quotes or proverb for my blog when i came across this.

A fat wife is like a blanket in winter.~ Pakistani Proverb

Now,i am not going into detail with that weird proverb but i just wanted to share it.Anyways,I came across a great one,of course,by Shakespeare. What an amazing analogy!Wish i had more years of literature in school just to drown in poetry!

Blow, blow, thou winter wind,

Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh-ho! sing heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh-ho! the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,

Thou dost not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As friend remember'd not.
Heigh-ho! sing heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh-ho! the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Sharing another beautiful email from Sis Rosa

God Said NO!!

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No.
cid:X.MA2.1231466606@aol.com

It is not for me to take away,
but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.

God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God  to give me happiness..
cid:X.MA5.1231466606@aol...com
God  said, No.
I  give you blessings;
Happiness is up to you.

I  asked God to spare me pain.
God  said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from
worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things
that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life,
so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me  LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God  said... Ahhhh,
finally you have the idea.

Snow white and the past 7 days

Firstly, this is nothing about the fictional character Snow white. Its just about snow...the white white snow!If you are in Karlskrona you know what i mean.

It was a snow storm!A real bad one.I dared not to step out off my house as it was really cold!but hubby told me that i must see the streets! So,i quickly got dressed and went down. The whole street was flooded with ice!It was super cold and snowing heavily.

While everyone was running home or indoors. We were taking these pictures!

Winter means cold, boring & dark etc but it is still a an amazing creation of God!Looking at those hexagonal crystals swaying down to ground is such a beautiful sight!
