What's Cooking...

The weather hasn't been good lately and i am also trying not to go out much to save money for my trip ahead.Hence,I tried a few more new recipes..Hehehehe

 Blackberry & Banana Pie.
I had very ripe bananas (that i don't like to eat) and very sour berries (very sour to eat). So,i decided to turn them into pie.Hehehe.It was a good combination and the pie was yummy (according to H).
Kambing Soup.
This is the only picture i have of my successful Kambing Soup as i accidentally deleted the pics.Sob..Sob..
Anyhow,H bought Tulang and Mutton and asked me to make Soup.I found 2 recipes online that seemed ok and i used the ideas from both to come up with my very own Kambing Soup Recipe.H told me it was excellent.
Fyri's Cake
I tried this Fyri's Cake a.k.a Apple Sponge Cake recently.Sherin came over for tea and i wanted to bake something for us to have with tea. This recipe is very simple and easy to make and i am glad that it turned out well too.

Cooking for love!!

It was a sudden craving for gourmet food...I told H about it (Monmarte perhaps?) and he was so lovely to cook for me a lovely dinner!!

The Best Part of this is that it was FRENCH FOOD!!!

                                         STARTERS

                                      Main Dish

                                        Dessert
It was a scrumptious meal and it wasn't easy to prepare.H was stuck in the kitchen for very long to prepare this meal for me.It was his first attempt to cook French food and it was amazing.I loved the stuffed avocados & Caramel pudding.Kudos to you H and Thank you very very much for that lovely meal!!

YUM...YUM...YUM...

H worked late last night. The weather was cold and i was having a sweet tooth. So,i decided to bake a chocolate cake from my Swedish recipe book. The book is good and simple to understand. Thus,so far my baking experiments have been good.: )

Lesson Learnt!

I found an simple DIY hair mask recipe online and decided to try it.
H was bit reluctant to try it at first but i managed to persuade him.The following was
the ingredients:
*Banana              *Milk
*Honey               *Olive Oil
*Egg
After mixing all together,i applied it on H's hair. There was lots of the mask leftover that i asked H to apply it for me and what a HUGE mistake it was...
We had to leave it for about 15-20minutes before washing it off.H's went fine.Just had to wash twice to clear all the residue. Then, shampoo it.

But mine was a Disaster!!!The residue got stuck in my hair and i had to wash atleast about 5-6times with shampoo and then i tried to use conditioner!By the time i finished i nearly peng san!
LESSON LEARNT: Never try DIY recipes with mushy ingredients like banana that can get stuck to your hair !!!Haiz....
