Briyani!

H bought mutton last weekend and we decided to do some kitchen experiments.We got some ideas from a recipe and add it to my previous briyani making experience &Voila its a new Mutton Briyani Recipe!The Briyani was soo good that it reminded me of deepavali back in Singapore!
H and I are planning to keep our invention as a secret family recipe..（￣ー￣）

Then,we headed to one of our usual cafe for 'Fika'

We talked and talked while time was ticking super slow!

Then i met H and we went to Karlskrona Sail ;walked around,eat and played some games.H was super pleased and surprised with the black spiderman that he wanted to get something for me.

He got it for me in the first round!I don't know why i chose smurfs of all things maybe because it was nostalgic.Hehehe

Karlskrona Sail

Sherin and i went to check out The Karlskrona Sail.After walking around for some time,we decided to sit on the Ferris Wheel.

Trying not to freak out..hehehe

She seems to be enjoying the ride..

The ride was successfully over and we tried to play some other games.Then,i saw this machine full of black spiderman and wanted to win one for H.

I won that in 2 tries!!

And of course we had our messy battles with our Langos*

(*Famous Hungarian Snack!Fried bread with sour cream and other toppings)

Walking to Wämöparken

I walked all the way from Centrum to Polhems then to Wamoparken.Felt soo good and the weather was good too!

Whahaha...well it was a good exercise to walk all the way back home.I was totally exhausted and i slept early too.

A New Hobby...gone wrong

H got me this photo pearl kit for our valentine's day and we haven't touched it till recently.We were suppose to do it together.

I managed to finish the picture and it was really fun...until...

 

This is the picture after i completed it.

Now hear my sad story.I was waiting for H to help me to transfer it to the cardboard and glue it.We began with the first pegboard.That is when it hit me that the picture should be inverted so that when we transfer it to the cardboard it is the right side!!!H and i tried to remove the sticker from the pegboard but the beads began to drop.I tried few other shortcuts to correct the mistake but it was in vain.The beads began to fall from the pegboard causing a big mess.

So,we decided to do it the long way.Yes..Yes..to redo the whole thing.The worse part in this was to sort all the used beads back to the right box!!

Life is such a beauty.I was so excited about the whole thing until i realized that it was all screwed up but i was thankful that H was patient to help me and didn't rub it in (as i did the print outs).So,there is something to be happy and be grateful about end of the day!

(Noticed that i posted this on Friday the 13th but this has got nothing to do with my post as it happend about a week ago!)

Last Day...

H and I went on separate ways on the last day as he wanted to go to Manchester.I would've loved to join him but i wanted to visit the Imperial War Museum ( and i am not a MAN U fan).We both had no regrets.As i mentioned earlier museums in London are amazing and interesting.I don't have many pictures as i let H take the digital cam.I got a disposable cam instead and took some pictures to share with H later.

Once shopping was over,we decided to do some sightseeing.I haven't had a chance to try the London bus.So we took bus to Thames River.

We proceed to walk,stopping to take crazy pics on the way.

We arrived at Embankment tube station and took tube down to London Bridge.The tube line towards London bridge was not in service so we had to change to the bus service (so troublesome).Not until i reached the London Bridge stop,did i realize that there was nothing there (boring).I actually wanted to got to the Tower Hill but got the names mixed up.Thankfully,it wasn't that far.So walked again.

Our last stop was Tower Hill.We were super tired and i was hungry.H was exhausted as he woke up around 5am to go to Manchester.So,we headed back to hotel.

London was amazing and i felt so at home with the English speaking and Asian food.I would not mind going to London once again if i had the chance to just go and explore the museums and do more shopping.

I LOVE LONDON!!!
