As the title states..that was our itinerary this day!Our first destination was to the Colosseum (Roman Coliseum).It was super super hot but i had no regret standing in this hot sun to admire the wonder of the world!
*Built in 1st Century A.D. .Then it was Flavian Amphitheater
*Used to host gladiatoral shows,Animal hunts & other events
*Many animals were believed to be extinct due to this animal hunt event then.
*Could accommodate up to 87,000 people
*Names of the senators craved on their seats (still can be seen)
After Colosseum we went to the Palantine Hill where i spent most of the time seated in shade.Hubby went around taking pictures.
Then we went to Santa Maria Church to see the Bocca della Verità a.k.a mouth of truth.Ancient time lie detector.It was believed that if you were to put your in the mouth and tell a lie...your had would be bitten off!!He must have seen many centuries of lies!!!

In Rome,I noticed the traffic light for pedestrian had 3 men.Green,Red & Orange.I guess it is essential to control the human traffic...
